PLEASE NOTE: Nominations for 2018 inductees into the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame are now open. Please consider nominations for 2018 and submit a nomination form no later than April 1, 2018.
In 2012, The Muskegon Irish American Society announced its founding of the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame, which memorializes our state’s Irish American men and women who have had significant impact in the areas of Public Service, Philanthropy, Arts & Entertainment, Business & Industry, Religion, and Sports. The first members were inducted in September 2012 at the Michigan Irish Music Festival, held annually at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon. (See Muskegon Chronicle article below – click to enlarge.)
In addition to this website, the physical display for the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame is graciously hosted by Hennessy’s Irish Pub, 885 Jefferson Street in downtown Muskegon. Our President, Kevin Donovan, designed and created the plans for the wall display at Hennessy’s, and installation was completed in March of 2014. We encouraged you to visit to Hennessy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant and honor our state’s Irish American inductees.
Members and friends are encouraged to consider making tax-deductible donations to the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame. All contributors will be listed as part of the Hall of Fame display. You may wish to make a donation as a memorial to your family or in memory of someone who is deceased.
